Meet the On My Own Foundation's Board of Directors.

President   Robert Haggan

President: Bob has a son, who has autism, and has volunteered for the past 17 years with Challenged Youth Sports. Challenged Youth Sports is a program providing children with disabilities the opportunity to engage in sports activities just like their typical peers. Bob has been a trustee of Challenged Youth Sports for the past 10 years. After spending 28 years in Middletown, NJ, Bob and his family recently moved to Long Branch.

Vice President   David Vadon

Vice President: David is the father of a daughter with Down Syndrome and an advocate for people with developmental disabilities. David lives is in Middletown with his wife and three children. David currently works as a Managing Director for an international investment fund focused on real estate and brings more than 25 years of business and management experience in the real estate and finance industry to the board of 'On My Own'.

Treasurer   Pat Rinaudo

Treasurer: Pat is the father of a son with Down Syndrome and an advocate for people with disabilities. Pat lives in Middletown with his wife and three children. Pat currently works as the CFO/Compliance Officer of the Mid Atlantic Resource Group, LLC. His experience spans back 32 years in the financial service industry. Pat is currently the board president and treasurer of The Mid Atlantic Resource Group Foundation, Inc., an advisory committee member of The Family Resource Association. Inc. and an active member of the St. Leo’s of Middletown Knights of Columbus.

Secretary   Mark Cartier

Secretary: Mark is the father of a daughter with Down Syndrome. Mark lives in Middletown with his wife and three children. He has volunteered with Challenged Youth Sports for the past ten years, and is currently the organization’s Little League representative. Mark has also been an active fund raiser for Family Resource Associates for the past 15 years, raising funds for the special needs community. Mark is a member of St. Catharine’s Church in Holmdel, where he has been the Director of Children’s Liturgy for the past 16 years. Mark is a Managing Director for Mizuho Securities USA, Inc in New York, NY and he brings more than 30 years of finance and executive management experience to the board of On My Own.

Board Member   Carmela Haggan

Board Member: Carmela has been happily married for 29 years, and is a mom of two wonderful sons, one on the spectrum. Carmela was a Special Education classroom teacher for 15 years and has been teaching Early Intervention for the past three years. Carmela has been involved with the Challenged Youth Sports program by running social gatherings throughout the year. After living in Middletown for over 28 years, she now lives in Long Branch.

Board Member   Margo Hooker

Board Member: Margo has been involved in charitable work for more than 40 years. She is a certified Elementary and Special Education teacher who has taught all ages of students in both public and private schools and also worked in a group home for developmentally disabled adults. For the past 25 years, Margo has been a volunteer for Lunchbreak and The Barn for the Poorest of the Poor and in 1990, along with her husband Paul, cofounded Challenged Youth Sports, Inc., a nonprofit sports program for children with disabilities. Margo and Paul have resided in Monmouth County for the past 40 years and have three married children and three grandchildren.
